It’s always a challenge to get your kids to have their fruits and especially veggies! For kids it simply boils down to taste as it does with some picky eaters in general in spite of age. I remember on my recent visit how my 6yr old nephew had this terrified expression on his face when I offered him the unspoken, broccoli!! It was a perfect Kodak moment that I should’ve captured. I even offered to build two Lego sets for him but nada, failed! He did however give me a character from his Lego set that I always keep in my kitchen. Anyways, back to this super easy recipe, I think this is not only a nutritious and tasty snack for the kids but adults can have it too! That’s what I had for my mid-day snack the other day along with some mixed nuts. Give it a try!
Serves: 1 Kid or double the recipe for 1 Adult
Pinch of Cinnamon
- In a small bowl mash Avocado and Banana with a fork until it’s well incorporated.
- Toast your little one’s favorite bread. I highly suggest trying it with raisin bread or sourdough!
- Spread the mixture on warm toast and sprinkle it with cinnamon.
Note: You can also mix pinch of cinnamon into the mash instead of sprinkling it on.
